Notes
- You can make this sandwich using any bread of choice, but I highly recommend you toast the bread.
- I used Boar’s Head caramelized onion, 3 pepper Colby jack and chipotle gouda cheese. I got them sliced at the deli in my Publix.
- Left over dip can be used to serve with potato chips, seriously is the best chips and dip because the dip can be served cold or room tempt.

Can you use freeze dried chives?
Hey Judie, I’ve never done that, but it is much easier to just purchase dried chives, the flavor is much better than freezer option.
Would love to get suggestions for the sub bread.
Hi, I love publix sub bread, but any Italian bread will do for this recipe!
