This Pasta with Truffle Cream Sauce combines Truff’s Black Truffle Pomodoro red pasta sauce with Alfredo sauce for an upgraded pink sauce combination that takes mere minutes to prepare and yet tastes like restaurant food.

Confession: truffle anything has my heart ‘til the day I die (sorry, husband).

This pasta with truffle cream sauce is possibly the best truffle invention I’ve come up with, and that’s saying a lot considering my Honey Truffle Grilled Cheese, Truffle Scalloped Potatoes, Truffle Pasta, and Parmesan Truffle Fries are all mouthwateringly good.

My truffle cream recipe is a beautiful blend of white Alfredo sauce and Truff’s Black Truffle Pomodoro red sauce. Their vegan and gluten-free sauce is a blend of tomatoes, herbs, black winter truffle, and red chili peppers, so it’s got a kick that goes really well with the earthy flavor of truffle.

Truff makes the most incredible condiments – everything from hot sauce to even truffle salt.

Most people refer to a pink cream pasta sauce as a red sauce with some half and half (half milk, half cream) incorporated into it. However, you can also make a delicious pink sauce that is even creamier by simply adding some Alfredo.

The combination is a rich, smooth, and filling pasta sauce that will leave you wanting more, not because you’re hungry, but because it was so freaking delicious!

Everyone needs a handful of what I like to call Lazy Girl Meals that can be made in minutes, fills you up, and always leave you with leftovers.

When I was single, I would call these my Single Girl Meals because I never had to worry about making a full-blown dinner. Plus, since it was just me, I would just make pasta and call it a day.

Now, sadly, my husband hates pasta (it’s a crime, I know!), and I can rarely make my Single Girl Meals. However, when he went on his annual boys’ trip, I did not miss a beat before busting out all my favorite Single Girl Meals again. And this Pasta with Truffle Cream Sauce recipe was one of them!Everything from the ingredients and brands I chose to the music I was listening to while cooking took me back in time (old school 90s R&B, if you know you know). It felt so nice to reminisce about the good times and even better to have leftovers the next day. As in, there was no need to make dinner.

How to Use Truff Pasta Sauce

Of course, when it comes to Truff, you can just dump that whole jar in as is in cooked pasta and have a great, easy meal on your hands! However, I like to spice things up with my recipes and make them more filling, nutritious, and flavorful.

Truffle has a naturally deep, savory flavor, or what a lot of chefs will call ‘umami’. It just means it has an earthy, mushroom-like quality to its taste. Combined with the flavors of tomatoes in classic red sauce, you can upgrade the Truff Black Truffle Pomodoro Sauce by thickening it up with Alfredo and flour.

Flour is often used in soups, sauces, gravies, and more as a thickening agent. The starch in the flour absorbs water and, when heated, releases a gel-like substance that helps create a thicker texture.

Long story short: if you like your pasta sauce creamy, add a little bit of flour in there!

In my recipe, I use all-purpose flour which has gluten in it and helps with that thickening process. However, you can still use gluten-free flour or oat flour for similar results.

Using this technique, you can get a really delicious and creamy texture on your truffle cream sauce that is unmatched. I mean, you’ll feel like you’re at a fancy restaurant!

You can also use lactose or dairy-free milk if you want to alter this recipe to fit your dietary restrictions and preferences.

Overall, truffle cream sauce is an underrated pasta sauce compared to other classics, like white cream sauce or classic red. By upgrading a store-bought brand into a pink sauce, you not only can create a really creative and delicious recipe, but you can also make your life a hundred times easier!
