Ras Malai Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 pint heavy whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tsp rose water or rose essence 
  • 10 ras Malai cut into pieces 
  • 1/4 cup chopped pistachios 
  • Dried rose petals for garnish 

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl using a stand mixer or hand help mixture, mix the heavy whipping cream until you have stiff peaks. 
  2. Slowly add the sweetened condensed mixture into the heavy whipping cream and fold it in. 
  3. Add some chopped up ras malai pieces and reserve the rest for the top. In a bread loaf pan add half of the gelato mixture to the pan and add some ras malai, add the remaining ice cream mixture on top and garnish with crushed pistachios and dried rose petals.
  4. Cover the pan with plastic wrap, freeze for 6hrs or overnight for best results.
