Description

Pickled jalapenos, one of the easiest recipes in the world and SO MANY of you have made it! I originally had this recipe saved into my highlights on Instagram but with everything I post this recipe was pretty much lost in the shuffle, so I thought why not put it on my website so you can access this recipe if you have Instagram or not!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 jalapenos sliced
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp sugar

Instructions

  • In a sauce pan, add water, vinegar, salt and sugar. Let this come to a simmer/boil on med to high heat.
  • While the brine is simmering, cut your jalapenos into slices and place in a jar or air tight container of choice.
  • Once the brine is boiling, gently pour into your jar thats already filled with the sliced jalapenos. Let this cool down for about 30 mins – 1hr and then place the lid on the jar and put in the fridge. Enjoy!

Notes

  • These pickled jalapenos will last up to 4-6 months in the fridge.
  • You can add whole white or black peppercorns to the brine along with other spices.
  • Use the brine mixture as a base and add any type of veggie you like to pickle.
