Description
Pickled jalapenos, one of the easiest recipes in the world and SO MANY of you have made it! I originally had this recipe saved into my highlights on Instagram but with everything I post this recipe was pretty much lost in the shuffle, so I thought why not put it on my website so you can access this recipe if you have Instagram or not!
Ingredients
- 10 jalapenos sliced
- 2 cups water
- 2 cups white vinegar
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp sugar
Instructions
-
In a sauce pan, add water, vinegar, salt and sugar. Let this come to a simmer/boil on med to high heat.
-
While the brine is simmering, cut your jalapenos into slices and place in a jar or air tight container of choice.
-
Once the brine is boiling, gently pour into your jar thats already filled with the sliced jalapenos. Let this cool down for about 30 mins – 1hr and then place the lid on the jar and put in the fridge. Enjoy!
Notes
- These pickled jalapenos will last up to 4-6 months in the fridge.
- You can add whole white or black peppercorns to the brine along with other spices.
- Use the brine mixture as a base and add any type of veggie you like to pickle.
