Ingredients
- 1&½ cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- ½ cup milk I used whole milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 apple diced
Maple Glaze
- 1&½ cups powered sugar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp milk
Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon,nutmeg, and salt. Add the melted butter, cup milk, and eggs. Mix until you have a thick pancake batter like consistency. If the the batter feels thick, add 1/4 cup milk to thin. Fold in the apples.

Heat about 2 inches of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drop tablespoons size balls of batter into the oil for 4-5 minutes or until golden and crisp on all sides. Remove and drain on a wire rack with paper towels underneath.

For the glaze, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, maple, and vanilla. Drizzle the glaze over the warm fritters. Eat warm and enjoy!
