  • Total Time: 15

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Trader Joe’s Thai veggie dumplings I only used half of the bag
  • 1 clove garlic minced/grated
  • 1 tsp ginger grated
  • 1 scallion finely diced
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame seed oil
  • 1 tbsp Sambal Oelek or Sirachha sauce
  • salt + pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil or pan sear your dumpling, set them aside once its done cooking.
  2. In a small bowl combine the ginger + garlic and scallions.
  3. In a small pan heat up the oil and add it into the bowl with the ginger + garlic and scallions.
  4. Into this bowl, add the soy sauce, sesame seed oil, salt + pepper and sambal oelek. Mix everything until its well combined and add in the dumpling. Enjoy!

Notes

  • I used Trader Joe’s frozen dumplings but you can use your favorite dumplings of choice.
  • Garnish with additional sesame seeds, chopped chives or scallions and cilantro.
  • If you want to use this sauce for noodles, double the recipe and bring the sauce to a low simmer, add in the cooked noodles and enjoy!
