Cheesy Garlic Herb Bread

Cheesy Bread

  • 1 package store bought pizza dough or homemade
  • 1 8oz mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup colby jack cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried parsley

Garlic Butter

  • ½ cup melted butter salted or unsalted
  • 2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Pre heat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Garlic Butter

  1. In a bowl combine all the ingredients that are listed under “garlic butter” and set aside.

Cheesy Bread

  1. In a bowl combine the mozzarella + colby jack cheese with the garlic powder and dried parsley.
  2. Roll out pizza dough into a 12 inch circle and 1/4 inch thick. Brush the garlic butter on one side of the dough, next sprinkle 1/3 of the cheese mixture onto one side of the dough and fold the other side of the dough over the cheese and seal the edges together by crimping with your fingers.
  3. Without cutting all of the way through, slice the top into 6-8 pieces so that it makes it easy to pull the cheesy bread apart.
  4. Brush the garlic butter on top, sprinkle the remaining cheese and bake at 400°F for 15-20mins until the dough is fully cooked and cheese and nice and bubbly. Enjoy with marinara or remaining garlic butter!

Notes

  • Do not use pre shredded cheese, its not the same and won’t be the same, take the time and grate the cheese, TRUST ME ITS WORTH IT!
