Cajun Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 small onion sliced or diced
  • 1 small bell pepper sliced or diced
  • ¼ cup peas
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced of grated
  • ¼ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt + pepper (each)
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ box pasta

Instructions

  1. Heat up oil in a pan over med/high heat. Add in the onions and bell peppers to the pan, cook for 2-4 mins. Add the peas and garlic as well, cook for 30seconds-1min.
  2. Next add in all the seasonings and mix everything until well combined.
  3. Add the heavy whipping cream, parmesan cheese and cooked pasta of choice. Stir until the sauce is well combined with the pasta. Enjoy!
