Bruschetta Pizza

Ingredients

  • Pizza dough (homemade or store bought)
  • 2 large tomatoes- diced
  • 1 small onion – finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic grated
  • 610 basil leaves – finely chopped
  • Balsamic glaze
  • 1/3 cup basil
  • 3 tbsp Calabrian chili paste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 380F. On a lightly floured surface, push the dough out until it’s thin (about a 10-12 inch circle). Transfer the dough to a baking sheet. Lightly brush the crust with olive oil.
  2. Spread the pesto and Calabrian chili paste onto the dough and  sprinkle the mozzarella.Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  3. In a bowl mix the diced tomatoes, onions basil, salt + pepper and a good drizzle of olive oil. Set aside until ready to use.
  4. Remove the pizza from the oven and top it with the bruschetta mix. Drizzle some balsamic glaze and enjoy!
