Tampa Eats

Tampa has a special place in my heart, the food, people and little bit of San Diego, now before you guys check the title of this blog again let me assure you that this is a blog post for Tampa, BUT what I meant was that a little bit of Tampa always reminds me San Diego.

Aside from the amazing beaches, beautiful weather Tampa has some of the best food! We’ve been to Tampa a couple of times so we already have our go-to spots but we always want to try something new.

BERNS STEAK HOUSE

One of our favorite place that we always end up going to is Berns Steak House, It’s one of the best steak houses that has a lot more then steaks! They have some of the best salads, there fried tomato bruschetta salad is so delicious, its honestly a meal. But if you love French onion soup, don’t skip out because till this day THIS French onion soup is THE BEST SOUP I’ve ever had! The truffle creamed corn, Mac and cheese and truffle parmesan fries are all amazing and have real truffle taste! Don’t forget there dessert floor, yes you read right FLOOR! They have a whole upstairs that’s just for desserts, every dessert is made in house and you can enjoy in their small wine barrel private rooms. It’s actually an experience it self, so make the reservations and go, trust me you won’t be disappointed.

HYDE PARK (Shopping + Restaurants & More)

If you want to spend the day shopping, eating, wining and dining then you definitely want to check out Hyde park, they have everything from Sephora to one of our favorite restaurant Timpano, along with bar taco and Forbici. On Swan has really good tapas and flavorful dishes, they have indoor and outdoor seating but make sure to make reservations in advance. Old Fellows ice cream shop was one the best places I had ice cream, and I’m not a huge fan of ice cream. But if you love coffee as much as I do, check out buddy brew they have some good coffee and they sell their coffee beans as well.

GREEN LEMON (American)

Green lemon has some of the healthiest food and not to mention GOOD food, I left feeling so good from drinking there fresh juices and hot honey pizza. I usually get the bowl and spilt it with my husband because the portions are huge!

HEIGHTS PUBLIC MARKET (Food Cafeteria)

Heights public Market – Armature works is a awesome place for you to check out a lot of restaurants and try a little bit of this and that. We went thereunto thinking how crowded it was going to be, but it was so worth it! They have so many amazing places to eat, drink and even shop!! You can eat outdoors or indoors but either way this is a place to check out!

MARLENES BREAKFAST (Breakfast)

For breakfast theres only once place my husband and I go to and always will, Marlenes Breakfast sandwiches are FREAKING amazing. Check the hours before you head out there because I believe there closed Monday but my usual order from there is the #2 “the uncle” minus the turkey sausage!
