Viral Wonton Nachos with Spicy Gochujang Mayo

If you’ve been on TikTok lately, you’ve probably seen wonton nachos taking over everyone’s feed. And once you try them, you’ll understand why. Imagine crispy golden wontons stuffed with a creamy, spicy filling that tastes like the best crab rangoon you’ve ever had but even better.

These Viral Wonton Nachos are packed with bold flavor thanks to a creamy mixture of cream cheese, soy sauce, hoisin, toasted sesame oil, chili crisp, scallions, and spicy peppers. Each wonton gets stuffed, sealed, and fried until perfectly golden and crispy.

But the real magic? A spicy gochujang mayo drizzle that ties everything together. It’s creamy, slightly sweet, tangy, and has just the right amount of heat.

The result is the ultimate crispy, creamy, spicy appetizer that disappears fast at parties, game days, or honestly just a fun night at home.

Why These Wonton Nachos Are Going Viral

The combination of crispy wontons and creamy filling is already hard to beat, but when you drizzle them with spicy gochujang mayo, they become completely addictive.

These wonton nachos are:

  • crispy and golden
  • creamy and savory inside

  • quick and easy to make
  • perfect for parties or game day

Plus, you can easily adjust the spice level depending on whether you use jalapeños or habaneros.

Tips for the Best Wonton Nachos

Don’t overfill the wrappers
Too much filling can cause them to burst while frying.

Seal them well
Water helps create a tight seal so the filling stays inside.

Fry in batches
Overcrowding the pan lowers the oil temperature and prevents them from getting crispy.

Air fryer option
Brush lightly with oil and air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

Why You’ll Make These Again and Again

  • Yield: 20 Wontons 1x

Ingredients

Scale

Cream Cheese Wonton Filling

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp chili crisp
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper or white pepper
  • pinch of salt
  • ¼ cup scallions, finely chopped
  • 12 jalapeños or habanero peppers, finely diced
  • wonton wrappers
  • water (for sealing)
  • oil for frying

Spicy Gochujang Mayo Drizzle

  • 3 tbsp mayo
  • 2 tbsp gochujang paste
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Optional toppings:

  • extra scallions
  • sesame seeds
  • chili crisp

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together: mayo, gochujang paste, honey, vinegar. Mix until smooth and creamy. The sauce should be slightly spicy, tangy, and just a little sweet. Set aside.
  2. Into a bowl combine: cream cheese, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, toasted sesame oil, chili crisp, garlic powder, pepper, salt, scallions, diced jalapeños or habaneros. Mix until smooth and fully combined. The filling should be creamy, savory, and slightly spicy.
  3. Lay the wonton wrappers on a clean surface. Add about ½ tablespoon to 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wrapper.
  4. Lightly dip your finger in water and run it along the edges of the wrapper. Fold and seal tightly. You can shape them into triangles, rectangles, or little pillows just make sure they’re sealed well so the filling stays inside.
  5. Heat about 2 inches of oil in a pan to 350°F. Carefully add the wontons and fry for 2–3 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  6. Pile the crispy wontons onto a serving plate. Drizzle generously with the spicy gochujang mayo, scallions, chili crisp and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
