Street Style Hakka Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 Packet Hakka Noodles
  • 1/2 small onion – sliced 
  • 1/2 bell pepper – sliced 
  • 1 carrot – thinly sliced 
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas 
  • 1/4 cup scallion – thinly sliced 
  • salt and pepper to taste 
  • 12 cloves garlic – minced or grated 
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce 
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce 
  • 1 tbsp sambal or sirracha sauce 
  • 1 tsp  toasted sesame seed oil 

Instructions

  1. Boil hakka noodles according to direction, drain rinse and set aside. 
  2. In a pan, heat up some oil and cook the onion, peppers, carrots and peas for 2-4 mins, add salt and pepper. 
  3. Next add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, samba sesame seed oil and garlic. Mix everything together and toss in the noodles. Add the scallion and serve! Enjoy.
