- Sliced bread – I used Italian
- White cheddar cheese – sliced or freshly grated
- Yellow sharp cheddar cheese – sliced or freshly grated
- Salt & pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp truffle oil
- 2 tsp honey
Instructions
- Layer the cheeses on top of the bread, add salt + pepper and honey, place the remaining piece of bread on top.
- In a skillet melt the butter and add the truffle oil, place the grill cheese sandwich in the skillet and cook on medium heat until it’s golden brown. Flip the sandwich, lower the heat and place a lid on top of the skillet.
- Once the cheese is nice and melted, remove sandwich from skillet and enjoy with soup!
