  3. Strain and Cool: Let the mixture cool slightly, then strain through a fine mesh sieve into a sterilized jar or bottle.
  4. Let It Rest: For the best flavor, let the hot honey sit for at least 24 hours before using or gifting.

Ingredients

  • (1) – 32 oz honey
  • 4 dried habanero peppers
  • 2 dried ghost pepper
  •  1/4 cup red chili
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp sea salt


Instructions

  1. Add honey into a pot over low heat. Add the vinegar and all the chilies along with salt.
  2. Stir on low heat for 10-15 mins. Do not let this boil or simmer.
  3. Turn heat off and transfer into a container and let it sit overnight room tempt.
  4. Strain the honey and pour into bottles. *Optional you can add some of the chilies into the bottles for extra heat.

  • I like to roughly chop the chiles into smaller pieces so the flavors release.
