Burger Condiments:
- Burger buns of choice
- Sliced cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, Onion + any toppings of choice
Smash burger
- 1 onion – thinly sliced
- 1lb ground chicken
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp chaat masala
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 green chili – finely minced
- Juice of 1/2 a lime
- 1/4 chopped cilantro
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the ground chicken with all of the spices + seasonings listed under “Smash burger”. Mix everything until all the spices are well incorporated.
- Form them into small balls and place them on small cuts of parchment paper.
- Heat up a cast iron skillet with a little bit of oil and a layer of thinly sliced onions and cook for 1 mins, next add your burger to the hot skillet, using something heavy, press down on the burger until you have a thin burger.
- Cook burger on both sides, add slice of cheese and cover the pan with a lid until cheese is nice and melted.
- Place the burger on a toasted bun, along with your favorite toppings and condiments. Enjoy!

- The parchment paper is there to help when pressing down on the burger. Easy and mess free.
