Vanilla Pear Margarita

Here’s a perfect drink to help transition into fall, before you get all crazy on me I just want to say this drink is good in the summer time, winter and fall but with pears in season right now I highly suggest you make this vanilla pear margarita!

You can use fresh pears and juice them or use pear nectar which is what I used and garnished with fresh pears! For a non alcoholic version you can skip the tequila and add sparking water! This drink is so easy it honestly would be a crime if you didn’t make a big pitcher of it and chill it in the fridge over night!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup pear juice or nectar
  • ½ cup tequila of choice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • cup of ice
  • sliced pear for garnish

Instructions

  • Rim a slice of lemon along the glass and then rim it in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • In a cocktail shaker, add pear juice, tequila, lemon juice, vanilla extract and ice. Shake everything for 30 seconds.
  • Pour over ice, garnish with pear slices and serve. Enjoy!
