These Buffalo cauliflower tacos are so freaking good I had to recreate them from one of my favorites restaurants in Florida. I love them fried but If your on the fence about not frying check out my notes below on how you can air fry or bake them.
Definitely make the avocado sauce to go with these tacos and of course add drizzle a little extra buffalo sauce on top! The trick to making these tacos so good is to add the buffalo sauce into the batter and every bite of cauliflower is just bursting of flavor!

Buffalo cauliflower tacos
- Start off by heating up the oil for frying in a med/large deep pan.
- In a large bowl mix the flour, water spices and buffalo sauce, the consistency of your batter will be like pancake batter, feel free to adjust more water if needed if you prefer a thinner consistency.
- Next add small amount of the cauliflower pieces into the batter making sure they are well coated and gently drop them in the hot oil. Fry until they are crispy and are golden brown. Repeat until you have no cauliflower florets left. Drain on a paper towel to remove access oil. In a bowl add the fried cauliflower florets and drizzle some buffalo sauce on top, mix until its well coated and then start assembling the tavos.
- Assemble the tacos by heating up the tortillas on a hot pan, you will start to see a little char and the tortilla bubble up. Next add a bed of lettuce followed by tomatoes, onions buffalo cauliflower, cheese and add a good layer of the avocado sauce. Enjoy!
Notes
- I used the sweet baby rays buffalo wing sauce for this recipe. Feel free to use any brand you love!
- If you don’t want to deep fry, coat the cauliflower in the batter and coat eat cauliflower in panko bread crumbs. Put them in air fryer, single layer do not over crowd and air fry at 360 F for 15 mins or bake them at the same temp until golden brown and crispy. Once they are air fried, coat them in additional buffalo sauce.
- You can even use this for hard shell tacos, burritos or even wraps.
