
This bruschetta pizza is like no other, its refreshing, flavorful and super quick! Its a quick meal you can make for lunch or serve for dinner, the pesto and Calabrian chili paste really adds a lot of depth and flavor to the traditional bruschetta flavors. I used my moms pizza dough recipe but you can use store bought pizza dough as well.
Bruschetta Pizza
Servings: 4 people
Ingredients
- Pizza dough of choice
- 1 tomato diced
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 6-8 basil leaves finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves finely minced
- salt + pepper
- ¼ cup pesto
- ¼ cup Calabrian chili paste I used the one from Trader Joe’s
- 2 cups Mozzarella cheese
- Balsamic glaze

Bruschetta
- In a bowl mix the diced tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil and salt + pepper. Drizzle some olive oil and set it aside,
Pizza
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Roll out the pizza dough and drizzle some olive oil on top and sprinkle on fresh herbs of choice or dried Italian seasoning. Bake the pizza for 15-20 mins until its fully cooked and crust is golden brown.
- Once the pizza crust is cooked, spread the pesto and Calabrian chili paste onto the pizza, add some mozzarella cheese and bake it in the oven for another 3-5 mins or until cheese is nice and bubbly.
- Add the bruschetta mixture on top of the pizza, drizzle with some blasmic glaze and enjoy!
