If you want a quick and easy lunch or dinner option, then make these semi homemade dumplings that are smothered in a sweet, salty and spicy sauce that will have you literally licking your plate!! I did use the extra sauce that was leftover for a noodle dish and it came out AMAZING!! Pretty much the recipe can be used for two different types of dishes. I did use Trader Joe’s frozen veggie Thai dumplings and they did not disappoint, I highly recommend them but you can always use your favorite dumplings of choice.

- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp toasted sesame seed oil
- 1 tbsp Sambal Oelek or Sirachha sauce
- salt + pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil or pan sear your dumpling, set them aside once its done cooking.
- In a small bowl combine the ginger + garlic and scallions.
- In a small pan heat up the oil and add it into the bowl with the ginger + garlic and scallions.
- Into this bowl, add the soy sauce, sesame seed oil, salt + pepper and sambal oelek. Mix everything until its well combined and add in the dumpling. Enjoy!
Notes
- I used Trader Joe’s frozen dumplings but you can use your favorite dumplings of choice.
- Garnish with additional sesame seeds, chopped chives or scallions and cilantro.
- If you want to use this sauce for noodles, double the recipe and bring the sauce to a low simmer, add in the cooked noodles and enjoy!
