Day 1: Arrival and Exploring Monte Carlo

  • Morning:
    Check into the Fairmont Monte Carlo, a luxury hotel located right on the Mediterranean Sea with stunning views and an iconic rooftop pool. After settling in, head to the hotel’s famous Nikki Beach for a light breakfast or early poolside drink.
  • Lunch:
    Walk over to the glamorous Café de Paris Monte-Carlo, located in Casino Square. This historic brasserie is perfect for people-watching and enjoying local dishes and my favorite hazelnut ice cream sundae!! You must get this!
  • Afternoon:
    After lunch, explore the nearby Monte Carlo Casino, one of Monaco’s most famous landmarks. Even if you’re not gambling, take a guided tour to see its opulent interiors and learn about its rich history.Once you’ve explored the casino, stroll through the Jardin du Casino, a lovely park with beautiful sculptures and greenery.
  • Shopping:
    Browse high-end boutiques along Avenue des Beaux-Arts or head to the Metropole Shopping Center for luxury brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci.
  • Dinner:
    Dine at Nobu Fairmont Monte Carlo within the hotel. The restaurant offers a chic fusion of Japanese and South American cuisine, including their famous black cod miso and sushi dishes.
  • Evening:
    Cap off the night with drinks at the Saphir 24, located within the Fairmont. The bar is known for its lively ambiance, offering spectacular views of the Mediterranean and signature cocktails.

Day 2: Exploring Monaco-Ville and La Condamine

  • Morning:
    Check into Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco, located near the Monaco harbor in Cap d’Ail. The hotel offers a more laid-back yet sophisticated vibe, with easy access to La Condamine and Port Hercule.
  • Lunch:
    Head to Maya Mia, a charming little restaurant that had the best truffle pasta and spicy tomato pasta I’ve had! This place was so good we went for lunch and dinner!
  • Afternoon:
    Explore Monaco-Ville (Le Rocher), the old town of Monaco, starting with a visit to the Prince’s Palace of Monaco. Tour the State Apartments and learn about Monaco’s royal history. Catch the Changing of the Guardceremony, which takes place at 11:55 AM daily.Afterward, visit the nearby Monaco Cathedral, where you can see the tombs of Prince Rainier III and Princess Grace.
  • Shopping:
    Wander the quaint streets of Monaco-Ville and explore local souvenir shops like Monaco Be Unique, which offers handmade goods, jewelry, and artisanal items.
  • Dinner:
    Enjoy dinner at MayaBay, this asian fusion restaurant was impeccable. The menu was literally a book of so many different options from vegan, vegetarian to fresh sushi! Make sure you get reservations in advance!
  • Evening:
    For an upscale night out, visit Le Bar Américain at the Hôtel de Paris. This iconic bar oozes old-world charm with live jazz music and a sophisticated atmosphere. Sip on a classic martini while soaking in the luxurious ambiance.

Day 3: Larvotto Beach and Fontvieille

  • Morning:
    Start your day with a relaxing visit to Larvotto Beach. Monaco’s only public beach offers soft sands and crystal-clear waters, making it ideal for sunbathing or swimming. For a more exclusive beach experience, visit the private Monte Carlo Beach Club, located nearby.
  • Lunch:
    After a morning at the beach, head to A’trego for a casual beachfront lunch. The views are amazing and food is even better. I got the basil and goat cheese pasta and it was a 10/10. So fresh and bursting with flavors.
  • Afternoon:
    Explore the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, located on a cliff with stunning views of the sea. This world-renowned museum houses marine life exhibits and is great for both adults and children.For something more off the beaten path, visit the Stade Nautique Rainier III, an outdoor swimming pool that converts into an ice rink in the winter.
  • Shopping:
    Finish your afternoon by exploring the small boutiques in Fontvieille, where you can find unique artisanal shops such as Mademoiselle Monaco, which sells elegant, locally designed fashion and accessories.
  • Evening:
    Wrap up your Monaco experience with a visit to Buddha-Bar Monte-Carlo, known for its exotic ambiance, upscale crowd, and fusion of Asian cuisine with signature cocktails. The mix of music and decor creates the perfect atmosphere to end your trip in style.
