If you love Mexican food but love the smell of when a sizzling platter of fajitas passes by you, then you must make these fajita bowls AT HOME in under 30 mins!
I love to make these at home because I’m in control of what I put into the seasoning but also I can add more veggies or protein without the up charge!
These fajita bowl comes together so quickly and can be made in an air fryer! I used my Ninja Combi for this recipe and boy did it get the job done in 10 minutes! Not only did I cook my veggies, chicken but I also made rice all in the same appliance!
Some of my favorite features are: Combi Meals which is what I used to make this recipe, cooked any pasta or rice and protein on top at the same time. Combi Crisp, Bake, Rice+Pasta, Sear+Sauté, Steam, Bake, Toast, Pizza, Slow Cook, Proof, Sous Vide, Air Fry, and Broil!
To make clean up very easy, all the trays are dishwasher safe too!
It really takes the work out of any recipe you make because it has 14 different functions and can do everything and anything an oven, stove, toaster oven, slow cooker and air fryer can!
Into a large bowl, combine chicken and veggies along with all the spices. Mix until everything is fully covered in the seasoning and add it into an air fryer basket.
Air fry at 380F for 10 mins or until chicken is fully cooked. Stove top: Add onto a hot cast iron skillet and cook for 5-7 mins.
Into a small pot, add rinsed rice and broth, bring to a boil and lower heat and cover with a lid. Cook rice for 17 min. Once the rice if cooked add lime juice and cilantro and fluff with fork.
Serve everything into a bowl, top it off with your favorite garnishes and enjoy!
